Some time ago I put together a mix of Regis tracks, mostly comprised of his early output on his Downwards label.
Over the last 8 or so years his style has changed dramatically from the industrialesque, driving, clanging sound that was almost his signature into more textured and deeper territories.
With this mix I wanted to delve into Regis' remix work from over the years, whilst at the same time showing the development of his approach to production, although I have opted to do this backwards, in that the mix begins with his latest work and then goes backwards over the years to that Downwards sound that fans of British techno are only too familiar with. I've been wanting to put a mix (or two) together of Kevin Martin's output for a while now. His musical projects have varied over the years, but they're never less than confrontational and steeped in passion.
